With sustained winds of 351 kilometers per hour, Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) made history as the most powerful cyclone on earth. When it made landfall on November 8, 2013, Leyte-Samar did not stand a chance. Although Guinarona suffered no casulaty, the damage to structures and means of livelihood is very stark.
That is why we have devolved into rebuilding. For what is there to promote? We have no more products to highlight. It's basically back to square one.
Please, world, help us!

We have had two watershed events: the highly successful San Pascual Baylon Centennial Celebrations, May 8-17, 2012 and the installation of the 15th century relic of San Pascual Baylon at the San Pascual Shrine in Guinarona, Leyte, Philippines, May 15, 2013 and the subsequent post-centennial fiesta, May 16-17, 2013. We wish to convey our thanks and appreciation for everybody's support.
Moving forward, we have morphed ourselves into promoting Guinarona as a world-class site for pilgrimage tourism, centering around the miraculous San Pascual Baylon; as well as for eco tourism. Plus promoting/marketing Guinarona products and services.
Which brings to mind the policy statement from President Benigno S. Aquino III:
Tourism is one of the sectors we are paying particular attention to, because it is one in which we can successfully pursue our agenda of inclusive growth, given the multiplier effect on jobs and the amount of money it brings into our country.
Welcome one and all.
